It is appealing to teenagers to teenagers due to a relatable stryline and situations, to both genders and all teenage age groups.

My brother the devil - this film is of serious teen crime genre centred mainly on a male audience. being an independent film it does not have much star appeal however that did not hinder its success. The story is what makes it appealing to a male audience as it focuses on gang culture and voilence. whats mainly appealing in this film is its approach on homosexuality.

mean girls - this is a teen drama and comedy, it mainly appeals to a female teenage audience. it has massive star appeal due to the presence of Lindsey Lohan who is very faous and liked by teens. the storyline follows a relatable school girl dilemma.
