SuperBad
SuperBad is a brilliant film, especially for teenagers as it involves dirty jokes that most teenagers will find funny and sexual scenes which may not be suitable for the elderly and the younger audience. That is why I like it anyway. It involves things that most teenagers go through in their everyday lives, and one of the main examples is getting laid or attempting to buy drinks from the store so you could get to a party. The main focus of the movie are the boys trying to impress the girls so that they like them or maybe even get in bed with them.
Stereotypes - There are a lot of stereotypes in this movie one of them being geeks or unpopular students struggle to or cannot get girls. It allows the audience to take a step into an unpopular teens group and shows us how they struggle with doing things that the popular kids could do easily. We have the fat and angry character who likes to boss people around and beside him we have his humble friend which all he wants to do is fall in love whereas the fat character wants to get laid. We then have the stupid one in the group who has the glasses and he is used by the bossy character most of the time.
The storyline is pretty straight forward and simple. Three teenagers are doing all they can to get served with alcohol so they could turn up to a party and impress the girls they like. However, this isn't as easy as it sounds because they go through a lot of things to get the alcohol. In fact, one of the characters even gets involved with the cops and throughout most of the film, he is hanging around with mental cops that do crazy stuff!
The genre I believe is a mixture of action and comedy. The whole movie is funny and at the same time a lot of action is involved.
